New Adventures: 2016

It hardly seems possible that we are starting our 10th year of RVing!  Not only that, we are still loving it, even though we go from a 2000+ square foot home .......
to about 300 square feet of living space.
The hardest part for me is having only one bathroom and no dishwasher (besides the two hands that God gave me).  But on the plus side, there is a LOT less to clean.   Weekly cleaning takes about half an hour in our 5th wheel.  For those of you who hate to clean, this would be a definite plus.

The first stop for our travels this year was the KOA in Bernalillo, New Mexico, which is between Albuquerque and Santa Fe.  We were off to a good start....no blowouts on the trailer tires and no flat tires on the truck.  We had one of those "delightful" experiences last fall, and both of us were glad that our drive was uneventful.

Next stop: Lake Pueblo State Park in Colorado, where we had a spectacular view of the sunset our first night there.

Nearby, were a couple of Mexican Swallows that dive bombed us when we got into close proximity of their nest.  After a dozen rounds of flying over our heads, I guess they got tired and decided to rest for a bit.  I can surely relate to these small creatures...Don can attest to the fact that I am a bit flighty at times!
