Posie's Odds and Ends

On her first trip out, Posie was in a devilish mood, especially after finding out that we were headed for Devil's Tower in Wyoming.  Guess she overheard us talking about this place that has been on our bucket list for some time now. 

 We settled into our site at the KOA with Posie all snuggled in her plastic cup.  After supper, while walking around the campground, a flock of turkeys walked by.  I wonder if they know that within about 9 weeks, it will be Thanksgiving?  They must be protected here, since they just strutted around like they owned the place.

This sign was on the outside wall of the KOA.  Bruce Jenner has nothing on these guys...they were dressing up in women's clothes long before he was even born! I wonder how much they were fined for improper dress once they were caught.  Guess it would be a moot point if they were deceased when the posse finally caught up to them.

After we got here, we discovered that Steven Spielberg's movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" was filmed here in this campground.  Guess that is why the T-shirt was for sale at the Devil's Tower Trading Post.  For sure, it's not one I'd wear or buy!  I'm just hoping the Aliens are gone for the summer since the tourist season is almost over.
