As we travel this fall, we think of Gary MacFarlane, who passed away last month at the young age of 73. He and Sherry traipsed with us across the U. S. for thousands of miles; from the West coast to the Eastern seaboard, and from the Florida Keys north to Alaska.
Gary, Sherry, Don and I had gotten together this spring to plan our fall trip. God, however, had different plans, and Gary's battle with cancer ended in August. Here are just a few pictures of Gary and Sherry during our traveling days together.
I love this pic of Gary & Sherry sitting along the Mississippi River when we were at Tom Sawyer's RV Park:
And here we were aboard the Margaret Todd Schooner in Bar Harbor, Maine.
From hot, sticky and humid Florida:
To freezing our "patooties" on the Icefields tour north of Banff:
We miss you, Gary. Love and hugs, Don and Laurel
